When people think about food, they think about the food they eat. There is something called primary food and it doesn't come on a plate. Primary food includes elements such as a meaningful spiritual practice, an inspiring career, regular and enjoyable physical activity, and honest and open relationships that feed your soul and your hunger for living. When you are satisfied with your life, the food you actually eat becomes secondary because you are so fulfilled with the life you've created.
You can't pour from an empty cup! How many times are you taking care of a million things and before you know it, your health and happiness are suffering? This happens all too often to people. Self care and positive self talk are vital to a healthy lifestyle and mindset. Self care routines don't take long, yet have a positive impact on your well being. A happier YOU rubs off on those around you. Once you start taking care of yourself you naturally feel motivated and become aligned with who YOU are!
When you move your body, you release endorphins and it makes you feel great! Exercise makes you HAPPIER!! You feel better, look better and have more energy. It also helps reduce your risks of chronic diseases. When you create an exercise routine that works for you, it makes you feel like you are on top of the world! In today's stressful and ever changing environment, it's important to have a healthy outlet to burn off steam. You will reduce stress and be better focused in your day to day activities.
The benefits of exercising are endless. Choosing something that you enjoy is so important. It can be as simple as walking daily or as intense as running like crazy. What matters most is that you are MOVING.
As I like to say, "Keep those bodies in motion!"
A well-rounded diet based on whole foods can naturally help support a healthy weight. Things like healthy fats, complex carbohydrates, and lean proteins provide adequate nutrition while also contributing to satiety (the fullness factor). Fiber from plants is especially useful in supporting a healthy weight – it keeps you fuller for longer, meaning you’re less likely to reach for snacks shortly after meals, and supports your gut health, which may have larger implications when it comes to weight.
As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I create a supportive environment that enables you to achieve your goals. My education focused on the most cutting-edge dietary theories and highly effective coaching techniques to help you find the right lifestyle that works best for you.

How does this work?
I offer a free one hour consultation to explore your health and wellness goals. Together we will determine if one of my programs are a good fit for you.
I coach clients throughout the country. I offer online coaching as well as local coaching in the North Georgia area.
My own journey to finding a healthy lifestyle has given me insight into many of the challenges you will encounter. This enables me to bring a high level of empathy, respect, and understanding.
I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will also help you make gradual, lifelong changes enabling you to reach your current and future health goals.
I take a holistic approach to my coaching. Together we will focus on feeding both your entire being and your physical body. We will feed your being or soul with primary foods and your body with secondary foods.
Primary foods are our true source of nourishment. The four main primary foods are career, relationships, physical activity and spirituality.
Secondary foods are the food you actually eat. These foods provide nutrients to your body, and we will focus on eating whole foods.
Having a healthy balance in both these areas is extremely important for your overall health and well-being.
As children, we all lived on primary food. Lovers thrive on the pure bliss and peace they’re experiencing, while passionate entrepreneurs are fueled by their work.
The excitement and rapture of daily life feeds us more completely than any food.
I’d like to paint a picture for you.
Imagine children playing outside with friends. At dinnertime their mother calls to them, “Time to come in and eat!” “No Mommy, I’m not hungry yet,” they respond. At the table, the mother dutifully ensures that the children leave no morsel behind. The children reluctantly force down the minimum requirement, eager to get back outside and play. At the end of the day they return, exhausted and satisfied. They quickly fall asleep without thinking about food at all.
Can you remember being deeply in love? Everything is light and warm, colors are vivid, and life is full of joy. You’re high off your lover’s presence, sustained and exhilarated by the blissful connection. You float on air, and food becomes secondary.
Think back to a time when you were involved in an exciting work project. You believed in what you were doing whole-heartedly and felt confident and stimulated. Time stopped, and the outside world was muted-food was an afterthought.
Now recall a time you were depressed or experiencing low self-esteem-you were starving for primary food. No matter how much you ate, you never felt satisfied. The need for love, power, or mere acknowledgement drove the desire for excess food.
My coaching services help to bring back that excitement that you once had. Many of my clients come to me because they are feeling stuck. Together we rekindle that same zest for life they’ve been longing for.

This program is the works! We will be with each other through different seasons. You will set goals for yourself and I will be holding you accountable every step of the way. I will work with you for two weeks and teach you some tips and tricks on how to prepare healthy meals. This is ideal for busy working professionals who don't have time to prepare healthy meals.
Sometimes people just need a good old fashioned kick in the pants. This service is very specific. It is for one month and you will set two specific goals and I will follow up with you 2-3 times per week ensuring you are staying on track. This is purely having a coach to make sure you are going out for that run, or drinking your water. Whatever your goal may be I will be holding YOU accountable! Yes, you could call me your own personal NAG!!
